Below are cutting options for your animal. Any time you have a question, do not hesitate to call us during our normal business hours. Your freezer meat is available by calling the store to place an order, or a printer-friendly version for each specie is available for you to print and use as a resource when ordering.

Your beef can be processed for the whole, half, or half-of-a-half (providing you with cuts from an entire side, with half the product).
All specifications listed below are based on half a beef. |

Steaks are available in many cuts.
An estimate of how many steaks you will receive is based on half a beef with the steaks cut 3/4" thick. |

We recommend two to three steaks per package. |

Steaks can be cut in the following thickness: |

Roasts are cut by weight. A normal serving size is approximately 1/2 pound per person. Please let us know if you would prefer some other size. |

Choice roasts are available, as some roasts will have bone and fat content. We can grind the balance into ground beef. |

Patties are processed round and can be made 1/4 lb. or 1/3 lb. each.
Patties are boxed in packages of 20 for 1/2 lbs. or 12 for 1/3 lb.

Would you like any short ribs?
Beef short ribs have very little meat on them and are normally "de-boned" and made into ground beef. These can be used in soup stock or for beef-n-noodles. |

Would you like any boiling beef?
Boiling beef is bones that have a small amount of meat on them that can be used in soups and stews for flavor. |

Would you like soup bones?
Soup bones are available for that purpose, to be used as a base for beef-based soups or stock. |

Would you like any stewing meat?
Stewing meat is used for just that ... stew! If you would like to keep some of this cut, please let us know This comes from the beef brisket, front plate, and fore shank. |
